Thrift Store/Flea Market Treasure: A Merck Sharpe & Dohm Medicine Bottle. Label Reads: 473cc. (1 pint) Propadrine Hydrochloride, Each 30cc. (1 fl. oz.) contains: phynylpropranolamine hydrochloride 0.12 Gm. (2 grains). Alcohol 16%. For use in treatment of allergic conditions such as asthma and hay fever. The bottle is half full of liquid substance. I am not aware of what year this bottle is. I am newly interested in antique medical equipment, containers, and of course the history behind it all. If anyone has more knowledge on this medicine or what year it is, I am anxious to learn more.
