When I saw this one come up I knew I had to try to get it. I already had the Pfauenauge (Peacock) and Candia Papillon with silver overlay in the same form. From 1899, Series I, Production Number 7772 Phänomen genre 6893, on a rubin (red) ground and correctly signed with the "Loetz Austria" mark. The silver overlay is identical to that on the Papillon. Not very large, just 4.5" tall.
Great collection of the same form.
Thanks Tony. I have always loved putting things together this way.
Oh wow............GULP...this is Beautiful !!
Thanks Antiquerose, I agree. And the beauty really comes out in the photos. The lights in the cabinet don't do these justice, but the photo really makes them pop. By the way, this is the first time I have used my tablet instead of the digital camera to photograph glass, and it won't be the last after seeing the results. I think the camera is a 4 MP, and the tablet is 16 MP. Holding it steady is a bit trickier though.
what a trio
