Do I give it a polish or leave as is.?
    7. Efesgirl Efesgirl, 9 years ago
If the patina is on the heavy side then maybe give it a few swipes with a silver polishing cloth, but nothing else. jmho

Thanks, am never sure. Some say leave as is and some say polish.

I am in the "leave it" camp. I clean off crud, but never patina.

Ultimately it's your pin and you should do what would make you happy when you see it.

I love things shiny! must have been a magpie, but I'm not sure it would look better
