Another Italian Piece - 1970s? This one still has a 'Rosenthal-Netter' label so it's probably Bitossi, no? I remember this period when the color 'avocado' and gold were really popular. shag carpets, swag lamps, picture windows, marimeko, optic art.... not my family's style, but i definitely appreciate it [more now than then].

and kitchen suites too! avocado and gold is what i remember from other people's homes. we were more into picasso flowers, peace symbols, dark brown and blue. in 1974, my family built a 'brady bunch' style home way out in the woods and we had lime green and bright orange shag carpets in some rooms. people who visited flipped over the high ceilings, big picture windows, exposed beams, and size of the place [which would probably not even be considered 'big' today]. the average home in the usa is something like 2.5 times larger now than in those days! what an enormous change in the consumption of resources that means!
