Sorry to hear that I recently was offered 200$ so I guess that I will take that offer I just watched the set go on eBay for 149,
I actually did research the dolls and found the identical ones with much higher numbers on eBay @karens Kraft's or more seller no is tk18222 (3487) it has a bid request for 149.00 plus a 16$ shipping cost but thank you ,please look there mine are also in new condition I also included the stands ,I was hoping to find out more as to maybe the meaning of there dress or the beads on there neck.I did fi d there approximate value I'm not sure how the numbers rate with price if any one could help that be wonderful .
Whiken44 I am lost who are you talking to in first comment ? A person can ask any price on ebay that does not mean that is what they will sell for . The numbers are neck do not affect price just means they were limited editions and 4800 were made . First number like 669 means it was the 699th one of factory line out of the 4800 made .
Previous response the price she is asking is lowest she will take ,the previous response said it had no value and I guess I was a lil offended I am sorry for that ,I have akot of dolls over 25+ years ,just trying to find out more about them some in original boxes some not there's no collectors in my area so I thought it be nice to find out about some if my things ,thank you for giving me that information I have had for many years and never knew much about the actual values or the numbers again thank you for your response.
These type of porcelain dolls were very popular in 1980's and 1990's and many companies mass produced them . Some of the original artist dolls have kept their value a bit more than others. With the internet came the fall in prices on antique dolls which decreased price on the newer porcelain dolls. If you enjoy them that is what is important :-) My sister in law collected this same pair and loves them :-)
