Small knife like carving

This is beautiful appears to be some type of spread knife or such wood is soft to touch all details are perfect about 6-8 inches lips are dark red inside of nostrils are red as well the ear is perfect in detail eyes are black in color hair is carved with detail a long earring dangles perfectly there is gems of green like jade and detailed nicely .I have been told was used to spread jams on toast not sure there is a p on back side of long flat side in back ,there is a hole in the ear area .this actually was given to me years ago ,I thought it was unique and am curious as to what it is ,what was used for and how it was made what era it came from ?the p on back side can only be seen by moving and really looking for it it is blendednicely into grain .would love to know all there is including its value and what the p is for please help
