I found this at a local estate sale and thought it would look great in our den. Besides the cool factor, it is now really intriguing me to its past. Looking for information of anyone knows anything about these or has a good source.
Measures 11" tall, 6" deep, and 5" wide. Everything seems to work as it should. It is missing the cap to the oil basin.

Hinks were big lamp producers and there is some info on the company available on the interwebz. Joseph Hinks patented the duplex burner in 1865 and this probably dates to the late 19th century.
