Really heavy piece. Don't know what's it's made of but found it at a garage sale this weekend. I think it's just a decorative piece, maybe a wall hanging but by the looks of the center it seems like it might have been used other than on the wall.
Looks like silver plate or pewter. Can you make a few more photos? What's the back look like?
