A friend of mine has this vintage set and is refinishing them as a Christmas present. The original finish was a gunstock brown (her words) and the opposing side was black stain. They are wood and appear to be hand carved. She does not know the age or backstory because she is not the original owner.
If anyone has any ideas on this set, it would be greatly appreciated.
