I'm wondering if this silver bracelet is made by a well known silversmith from Mexico? It's not real heavy and there may have been a makers mark and or hallmark on it but it's old and worn off now so I can't tell. I don't think just anyone could have done such nice work...It just looks familiar to me but I can't seem to figure it out. Could those be feathers?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
Love the piece!! Elegant
Thanks Lee. Appreciate that!
Thanks for the love Kevin!
It is a beauty Share!
Those are leaves. Possibly from Taxco. Their jewelry carries numerous silver marks. Navajo tribal jewelry made by well known silversmiths normally carries the word "STERLING" and their full names, initials (or pictograms). This bracelet is similar to Harrison Yazzie's work, but not one of his designs.
Oh, that's a nice one!!!
Yes, I would have called it Native American or otherwise, or at least not Mexican, the beads are not typical of Taxco to my limited knowledge. It's a lovely bracelet, the lines are very strong yet natural. :)
katherine - beads aren't so typical for Taxco jewelry, but items can be found on Google Images under Taxco leaves beaded bracelets.

Karen, thanks for the love and sweet comment. Always appreciated!
beautiful !!!
I agree EG. It's possible that this is a real early Navajo piece that was not meant as a souvenir, as it's not signed. It's just hard to tell. Thanks for checking it out though. I wish I could figure this one out.
Thank you Sean for the love and comment!
