I've never seen such a shape before although seen similar. No idea who is a maker - Ruckl?
On a white base there are yellow to red combed bands overlaid with clear glass.
All in all looks good and I like it!
Thanks for looking!
Thank you for the quickest love, aura :-)
You are so right to 'like' it, Ivonne :-) Very Art Deco looking I think!
I agree,I feel art deco "breath" too.

Hi Ivonne, how tall is this one?
Hi,Michelle,it's 13 cm tall.
Great vase!! I love the colors and shape. I believe this vase was made by the German maker Glasfabrik Gebrüder Funk & Co. I have been looking into their work for more than a year now, and collect images of their vases whenever I come across them. I actually have quite a few examples in this shape - even one with a Gebruder Funk label. I will add links to my images (and the label) for you.
Oh - I also came across one in this shape that was acid etched on the base 'Made in Germany'. I'll include the image for you, too.
Thank you Michelle so much.To be honest,I suspected a provenance different from Bohemian but wasn't able to figure anything beyond it.
I know a little about Gebr.Funk but my knowledge was limited to this link and the characteristic rim http://www.glaskilian.de/Funk.1110.0.html.
I'll be grateful for your links.
I do not know who made it, but I have owned and handled several examples of this shape, and all have said either Germany or Made In Germany on the underside in the form of an acid stamp. This is the nicest décor I have seen one in though. Most are a kind of mottled décor using less than vibrant colors.
Thanks, welzebub for the comment. My vase has no marks or stamps but thanks to CW friends it can be IDed now.
I'm glad you like it :)
Many thanks Ian and blunderbuss for the loves!
Here are links to a few examples I have come across:
With original Gebrüder Funk label: http://s1244.photobucket.com/user/michelle_b007/media/Gebruder%20FUNK%20KUNST%20GLAS_label.jpg.html?sort=3&o=3
An example with the acid-etched 'Made in Germany': http://s1244.photobucket.com/user/michelle_b007/media/Gebruder%20Funk%20vase%20acid%20etched%20Made%20in%20Germany%205.25in%20t.jpg.html?sort=3&o=2
Another decor example: http://s1244.photobucket.com/user/michelle_b007/media/Gebruder%20Funk_I%20believe.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1
I should also add that these date to around the 1920's, from what I have read. Here is one more example in a different shape and decor, but with a label in better condition:
http://s1244.photobucket.com/user/michelle_b007/media/Glasfabrik%20Gebruumlder%20Funk%20Label.jpg.html?sort=3&o=59
Michelle, great examples and great documentation, thanks again!!
Feel free to use my vase in your images collection.
My pleasure! And thanks so much - I don't have any images of Gebruder's vases in your decor. :)
A wonderful vase from a firm I did not know of Ivonne.
Great ID and links Michelle.

Thanks,Sylvia for the comment.
As far as I know Funk glassworks located in Penzig ( Piensk ,Poland after 1945) was evacueted in 1945 to Germany .I haven't found any information about their existence after WWII.
Perhaps they restarted their activity or somebody else continued.
Thank you EZa for the love:)
Thank you rucklczglass for the love and the comment.
Indeed , there were so many manufacturers - in small Penzig (I haven't even heard about before) there were seven!
