Can someone tell me what these miniature signals were used for? Or what type of power source they had?

I believe these were for automotive use like a license plate topper. This would 6 or 12 volt depending on the bulbs used.

Did you read the listing and look at the photos and read what is written on the box? Its exact description for use is there. Looks solved to me.

Thank you Rustfarm, I don't recall ever having seen one before. I did go back to ebay and looked more closely at the photos of the packaging, which in haste, on my iphone, I had not done previously.

I bought it for $3.00 on at an auction. Granted it doesn't have all the packaging, but if they are rare enough that the ebay seller gets their asking price, I suppose I got a unique piece of automobile history for a pretty good price.

Do you have an uber cool car to put this on? If not. You might want to treat yourself!

Oh you restore old motorcycles! Awesome! I ride them....well maybe not antique ones....but I'm still hopeful that my uncle wills me his old 60's Duo Glide (62 maybe?) with the giant white buddy seat. Hey maybe I'll put this signal on my Street Glide = )
