I was walking around my garden today, I notice these Senna shrubs. Everything here in southern Spain seems to be flowering very early. Normally I would expect to see these flowering in early spring, global warming, I'm not sure. I believe this plant is a Senna alata which is a important medicinal shrub. I've put a link below explaining the properties of this shrub
Many thanks for looking

Beautiful plant! Incredible early flowering...
Hi kyra, I'm a bit worried, all the trees and plants are coming into bloom far to early.
Just beautiful!!! The weather has been a bit crazy in the last few years. It's December and it's gonna be 71*F here in Central Kentucky on Saturday!! It should be like 40*F. I had a tomato plant growing until a couple of weeks ago. Not sure how it survived the heavy frost we've been having.
This is great Jean. Of course I know about Senna as a laxative, but who would have guessed it is such a handsome shrub.
Thanks for showing it in it's glory.
Hi Scott, I'm still going round as if it's summer here, a bit worrying. Next week I'm going back to the UK for Christmas I think that will be a shock to the system. Any way thanks for passing by and leaving your comment :-)
Hi Karen, yes it's nice to put a photo to a plant, especially a Senna, people know about it but don't know what it looks like, I thought it would be interesting. This is a pretty shrub, thanks for your interest :-)
Many thanks
