I recently purchased this for little to nothing plan on fixing it up but I would like some information about it if any of you trunk experts out there could help me out? It measures 25 inches tall and 21 inches wide the only information I could find on it was on the brass lock on the front and it said Eagle lock company with the address can anyone tell me anything more about this trunk, it would be greatly appreciated!

There are a few experts here on CW that will be able to help you out more than I can. I am an avid collector of trunks and have been for years, but ,like a lot of trunkers, I'm still learning too. There's lot to know about these wonderful pieces of history.

Nice trunk , I wonder if this is the patent for the interior tray bolt? Not sure
as the pictures are hard to see. This is a cross lat trunk from late 189os or so. It is similar to a trunk that I posted a while back ,Although a different manufacturer.
without a label it is very hard to tell who made it.Although If the hardware matches the patent it could be an indicater of the maker.Hope this helps. much luck with
      the trunk.
