Old friends all, these still bring a smile to our faces. Panama was such a great tour (U.S.A.F.) and our daughter was born there as well. Back then (while it was still the Canal Zone) you could lease an island in Lake Gatun for $12.00 a year. Many the night we sat and watched the ships pass through the Canal from our little island.
