I don't have much Hockey memorabilia. Strange really, being a kid growing up just outside Toronto, went to lots of games at the Gardens, had cool Bobby Orr black and yellow skates( they didn't help me skate any better). Big part of my childhood was watching Hockey Night in Canada, Intermissions had 'Peter' Puck' showing tips on how to score better, etc. Local player to me, about 20 minutes away was Eddie Shack. Icon of the day, with his own hit song written about him, Pop Shoppe and other commercials on tv, and a sideline business, Christmas trees. Used to have trees sent to various places, usually mall parking lots around York Region. He was the hockey guy that stood out best in the 60's and 70's for me. Anyway, this is all I have. One autographed menu from not too many years back. Eddie can still be seen around, giving autographs, and talks quite frequently to students on the importants of education etc. Stand up legend from hockey past. He was on the leafs in 1967. Last year we got the cup.
