    katherines…
    (247 items)

So I don't acquire or hoard nearly as much Christmas stuff as I did in years past. This glass Nativity in the first pic, my gran's old ceramic Nativity in the second pic, and a plastic one that plays music (not pictured), are the ones I've kept. The third pic features what we enjoy eating on Christmas Day, home made chicken tamales, rice and beans, and the fourth pic is what's left of the dozens of cookies I make every year. I hope you enjoyed seeing these.

What a very kind comment, thank you, Masterpearl, and thank you for the blessing, may you have a good Christmas.

Thanks for the love, kyratango, kivatinitz, and Manikin. :)

kivatinitz, if you mean beef tamales, I'm not really crazy about those. My favorite are chicken, but as children we always ate pork tamales made by the ladies of the family. Unfortunately I never learned the art of making them. These are very easy to make, I'm happy to share the recipe if you are interested. :)

      Katherine what a great post!
I just love your nativity scenes...they are wonderful.
Your food looks yum and your Christmas table just beautiful with the candlesticks and your snowman cruet set.

Thanks, Karen, yes my little Nativities are humble but homey. Thanks for the compliments on the food and table, I love doing Christmas settings. :)

Kivatinitz, hose are very different from our tamales, thanks for sharing!
