Always a Corgi Favourite. Nice 1:43 model of the Famed Scottish racing team Commer Ecurie Ecosse transporter. This one is pretty decent shape, a few scratches but retains allthe important parts. Has small vise on workbench, often missing real loading ramp, and no broken windows. Model has pressure sensitive steering like many of the Corgi car models of the era. Model pictured in dark blue with yellow lettering. Also available in dark bluewith lighter blue lettering, and light blue with red lettering. The ultimate set was GS No. 16 which included the 3 race cars. Thick wallet required for the boxed gift set.
Pilen Corvair Gt pictured on deck has no relation to transporter, it is just because I like it and to show scale.
Thank you Nicefice. This is the third one I have had. Each one a bit better than the last. Slowly working my way up to the gift set.
Thankyou AZTom for the love
A quicky! We were returning from a race & the alternator on the diesel "dualie" went out. They were checking us all into a motel, when I said, "We have a race car with an alternator & wire". Got a few "Duh" looks & you can figure out the rest. LOL!
That is very cool.
@ blunderbuss2. Sometimes obvious answers aren't always obvious. Lucky it was similar enough to work. These modern belt setups can be a real pain.
Thanks for the loves all.
