This RS Prussia piece was my Mom's favorite in her collection and now it's my favorite in my collection. I inhertited this piece along with an entire china cabinet full of antique pieces from my Mom, who inherited them from my Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great, Great Grandmother.
I don't know a whole lot about this RS Prussia piece or the other antiques I own, but I am learning something new about a piece or two everyday (because of your site, I now have more info on this piece...thank you!).
I do know this, my collection is priceless (to me) and I treasure each and every piece I own as a part of my family history. Although only a few pieces like a chocolate pot, and mustache cup and saucer made the journey with my ancestors when they came to the US, once established, they continued to purchase various antique pieces through out their lifetime and as a result, I have an amazing collection that I am more than happy and quite proud to show off!
Thank you again for the info and for hosting such a user friendly web site. I applaud the collectors/historians of all things antique, for you are preserving history!
Thank you Mark!!! :-)
Thank you Amarcus!!! :-)
Thank you Official!!! :-)
*Waves*, hi Neighbor! (from your pic, it looks to be a busy, but nice day in M-town. On your way to the Boogie?) Southern Indiana is such a nice place to go "wandering", especially on a bike!!!
