Swiss made Quartz Clock. The car's best feature by far. The centrepiece of Maseratis. This is my often misunderstood little rocket. Car is boxy, and fails on outside appearance. The good part is I sit in the drivers seat where the view is much better. Contrary to popular misconception and earlier models carb, oil cooled turbos and electrical gremlins, this fuel injected car, with oil and coolant cooled turbos is actually reliable and will start without hesitation. Has no problem loosing traction accelerating, and not recommended to engage turbos part way round a turn. Interior is hand stitched leather and suede. Dogleg 5 speed shift pattern is fast and missed shifts are rare. Downfall of car is high maintenance with requirements with valve shimming and timing belt replacement every 30,000km, or about 18,000 miles. I run with timing belt cover removed to monitor situations in there.Lucky for me I am ok under the hood, but parts are still quite expensive. If not mechanically inclined and brave enough to touch fancy metals, every belt service can be up to 2500 dollars. Of coarse that was often neglected and cars blew motors at an alarming rate. I use it sparingly, and prefer to bomb around in my cheap to run MGB with non complicated everything. But that clock and interior is hard to resist. No bashing of car permitted. I have heard it all many times, mostly just before I peel away and leave them well behind.
LOL....Zoom / Zoom .....
