interesting papered wooden box

This box is made of wood which has been very carefully covered w/ decorative paper. it is very well-made, lightweight and the lid fits tightly. it's about 15 inches across x 10 inches tall by 8 inches wide. the paper on the inside and bottom is the same and has very shiny gold flakes or spatters on it. the outside paper is stamped in two different shades of red. i really like this box! it kind of has an asian feel to it. i think it's old - 1900-1920? there's no writing on it anywhere. it has an asian feel to it, but who knows?
