      Hi,
Your clock is certainly German and likely from the 1920's. Are there any markings on the movement?
      Regards.

Not to be flippant but it's pretty much worth whatever you paid for it. You can always search competed eBay listings. Here's a link to one search which may help give you some ideas:
      http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=antique+time+and+strike+cabinet+clock&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=0&LH_Sold=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=15&_stpos=17331&_sargn=-1%26saslc%3D1&_salic=1&_sop=16&_dmd=1&_ipg=200&LH_Complete=1
      Good luck with your research.
