    I picked it up just because it was pretty. I usually flip my finds but this is a keeper after researching it. I was excited to find out so much information on line but was not able to find what the numbers meant. I would like to know at least that information. I find a lot of neat things but this is one of my favorites and will find a spot in my china cabinet.

      2860 is the design number.

      The decor is Areo and the symbol for the date (under the word Areo and to the right of the gate picture and the capital 'R') looks like the mark for 1955. Hope this helps!
