A Coppercraft product Celebrating when the Welsh Rugby team were all Heros way back in the 70's winning the Grand Slam. Coppercraft Pictorial of the Rugby Union Grand Slam winners of 1976, 1977 and 1978 which is Wales! With all the Heroic players of that time, the guys that Max Boyce sung about. There is a Swansea boy there too. A J Wheel a huge monster (nice monster) of a man and I saw him drive an original mini.
Fantastic times when the players were not payed and all had jobs real jobs like Steel working, Mining and Farming. Amazing amongst the cateorgories there is no Rugby mentioned or Welsh items!
My grandfather played in a league made up of underground and surface mine workers. Won the title 10 yes straight against senior and college teams. Incredible athletes. Great post!
