    it's cold and many things are dormant, but this is the most critical growing period for many california native plants - the winter. the terracotta lute player is an 18th century Italian or French piece. I brought it to Clars a few years ago and had it appraised. The pink flower in the last photo has been flowering non-stop for almost 4 years - which is pretty strange and amazing!

      thank you racer and antiquerose! i'll get him a scarf. and yes, customers love to come and wander around for hours and are always amazed at all the little, unusual surprises hidden all over.

      I would definitely bring a cut lunch and flask and take ours to wonder round your wonderful nursery..plants and treasure hunting woooooooderful!!!!!!.....:-)

      people do bring their lunches and eat them at the nursery and wander around looking at things and taking photos too. it is a fun place for that. and you would be more than welcome, so come on over!!
