I'm a cat person so this really appealed to me. What an unusual color combo though. This 8" milk pitcher/creamer was from a series of cat themed pieces created by Camark Pottery located in (Cam)den, (Ark)ansas. They were in business from 1926-1965. You can just faintly see the design number 088 on the bottom and a "C' and "A" buried in the glaze. They did use labels as well. These came in a myriad of color combos some of which were rather ugly to be honest. I've read the cat pieces are very collectible and these pitchers are averaging about a hundred dollars online. My poor kitty has lost most of his tail though so there goes the value unless this rare deep purple color offsets that. It could be easily restored but original condition with zero damage is always key in the art pottery market. Still I think it was worth the rescue and I'll probably restore it myself at some point. -Mike-

Thank you guys:)....Kyra, Bonnie, and Blade. I'll try to get his tail repaired. I was thinking along the line of that Perma clay you can find in craft stores that come in a huge array of colors. Shouldn't be too hard to match.

Great minds Ken! I was thinking a Manx cat pitcher.

      It is adorable Mike.
