    I'm thinking of buying this set from a local private party. He states it's from the 60's and that the only markings are on the bottom of the board and show 3 arrows in a row. The piece in the laying in the drawer look to be cast. Does anyone here know if this would be a collectible set to own.,, or purely novelty? Thank you :)

      I can't comment on it's collectability but can say looking at it that it is made from resin of some sort.
      There is a lot of work in that board and set!
      Do you think it's a South American theme?

      Thank you racer4four, The seller says it's made of wood and stone. Mayan/ conquistador. I have a picture of the mark on the bottom I'll to post

      That piece lying sideways definitely does looks like it could be resin.. the storage board looks old to me. I guess I'd better just go look at it tomorrow. I'm hoping to not be impulsive... Ugh.
