I picked up his cool looking rotary telephone while visiting family in TYLOR TEXAS February 2, 2013. I fell in love with it and bought it from an antique shops for myself as my birthday find. I was told it worked but once I got it home and plugged it in, it rang loud but once I answered it - I could vaguely hear the person at the other end. Nevertheless, it's a sleek cool looking telephone. I believe it must have been an uptown phone in its day. What do you think ?? 60'so or 70'something model??
It's called a Handbag/Donut Telephone and is from the 1980s.

Your Sculptura phone or called donut phone is a reissue in 1989 by a company called polyflame located in Hong-Kong. It's a retro-look of the phone produced by Western Electric Co for the Bell System in 1976.
Thank you do much. Tomtucker and Efesgirl.
