My ancestors migrated to Ontario, Canada from southern Selkirkshire / northern Roxburghshire, Scotland in 1833. They brought with them a set of dishes which are green-patterned transferware (transfer-printed). This green transferware pattern is of tree branches with leaves (or of a branching green plant of some kind). There are no maker's marks or pattern name on the undersides. The shapes of the footed teapot and its lid look very much like the shapes of the teapot in the earlier posting by "hockeyguy" whose china also was made in Scotland about 1830 and has no maker’s marks. Does anyone else have similar family china brought from Scotland about the same time period? Where were these dishes made and by whom? What is the name of the pattern?
