It usually contains verses from the Quran or other prayers and symbols related to Islam inscribed on the metal portion of the Taweez. I have some information on this item. I have two taweez which are nearly identical inherited from my father. Can you tell me the origin of these items (ie where they were found?) Why do you think they are Mughal? I can somehow show you pics of mine, which are in tact and very very similar.
