Hotwheels Backlit Translite.

Approx 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 feet. Backlit Sign. 1993 McDonald's / Hotwheels Promotion.These signs typically would be on the drive thru, or part of the in- store menu board. Printed on an opaque styrene sheet using a 4 colour sheet fed Komori printing press.Same printing system used in backlit transit advertising,etc.
I was in charge of McDonald's Canada weekly promotional kits that included signage, etc. Detail is excellent. Metal box holding image is heavy gauge steel with flourescent tubes, and two sheets of plexiglass that can be sandwiched together so I can change out image at will. Also have a Carling Beer translite, but diecast toys are my thing, so this is great to have with cars. I have none of the actual models depicted in image as they are too new for my collection.
