      anmedipe, This would be a European suitcase from probably around the 1930's to 1940's period. Probably German or English. Unfortunately, CW prohibits any of it's members from giving out values, buying or selling on their site. Sorry:(

      Hi! Thanks for your help my boss owes the suitcase and shes not really looking to sell we were very curious as to where it comes from and its history, do you know if there is other pages where we might be able to find out more about it?

      almost positively not Russian :) but i do see the Star of David on it, and, while google search doesn't return much on "ELPRA", there's a book called "I arrived with the Star of David on my luggage"...perhaps it would contain some clue?

      Under the name I see something ending in ESCH. Sounds Germanic to me.

      The Star of David, before the Second Great War, was seen on many items. The War seems to have ended that.
