This is a small spatter glass vase having a spatter of yellow and gold on clear glass. Then there is a second spaced out, large spatter of blue/grey pieces with a dark edging. The spatters are between an inner clear layer and an outer clear layer. The rim is polished and I don't believe it ever had a frog.
The lidded bowl you see with it has a base spatter of yellow, gold and orange though the second spatter is the same. The bases are the same.

You have to love that acid blue - quite distinctive.
I love this decor. May I call it Petri Dish?
And I do love it, Ian, but for your urns and this bowl I would probably have passed it by!
lol....You may call it whatever you wish, Karen, it can't answer back!!!
Seriously though, I think the blue/grey is the colour of mould, and thus very appropriate!
Merry Christmas and Health and Happiness in the New Year.....to you and your family.

I love this! So different from other Welz shapes. The simplicity highlights the decor so well - terrific!
I think you are so right on the shape, Michelle.
Happy Christmas to you and your family.
I love the spots Peggy! What I appreciate most, is how the spots are far enough apart which allows them to really stand out against the background!
Hi Rick, my apologies for such a late reply.....I plead a broken arm! I love the spaced out spots too!
Belated but genuine thanks for the loves to, smiata, kivatinitz, Michelle, Ivonne, Rick, Mac63, SEAN and Deano
Oh no! I hope you are okay Peggy - that can't be fun. I hope it heals up quickly!
Thank you for your kind wishes, Michelle. I've recovered much mobility and just need to continue working on reaching behind me :)
It happened before Christmas......
Oh no - right before the holidays! I am glad to hear you are doing better! :)
These are beautiful, peggy!

Hi scott, I've just noticed that the bowl's palette is he same as that of Craig's new find!
