Oak rocker - trying to ID style, age, etc.

Found at a thrift shop in Missouri. I usually prefer the straight lines of Mission style, but this oak rocking chair called out to me, so I bought it. The finish and seat are worn, and there is dust and cobwebs on the underside. But overall, the chair is in good shape. Nicely chunky and solid feeling - I could imagine it might've been a man's rocking chair. The seat is some kind of coated cloth (oilcloth?), well-worn. Stuffed with something that makes a crinkly sound - excelsior? Beneath are springs and burlap webbing. No identifying marks or manufacturer's marks. Not sure what to do with it yet, so I'm storing it until I can afford whatever refinishing or restoration seems right.
