    Came across this patch and not sure what it is . Looks like a 3rd army patch but the colors are different. Is it Airborne? Thanks any info would be great..

      It is 3rd Army-- just a little fade to the red.

      I can't see the entire coat-- is it WW1 era? The felt patches like this are more typical of WW1.

      Well, you can rule out Airborne on a WWI jacket!

      WWI patches were made in a variety of materials and shades, plus they've had almost 100 years to fade. Yep, I agree 3rd Army

      Another unsung war hero wore this proudly and we have freedom as a result! No thx to the politicians in DC that keep selling us out. Both sides of the aisle unfortunately!
