Unique Lamps

This image of the unique lamps found on the internet but the exact same two lamps are in my garage since my mother passed away in 1991. Mine are buried with all the rest of ancestral tresures and this image was a treasure to find on the internet sparing me having to drag them out of the garage and dust off for a photo opt. Have wondered about the history of such unusual lighting ever since acquiring them. My mother had them in her tarot room where she gave pyschic readings. Someone once told me from the description provided by me that they were from the 1930 art deco era and that they used such lights to stand at the foot of stairways of hotels and old opulent movie houses. Each lamp is lit by a white globe held in the hands and seem to be made of plaster of some sort. Any information on this era of lamps would be appreciated so when I figure out what to do with them . Sometimes just want to take them to the curb and hope they will be gone when I awaken as my garage has me buried alive in ancestral tresures. I'm feeling more in the zen zone and ready to set all of it free. Ha ha ha..
