This brooch needs some TLC. Some of the clear rhinestones need to be replaced and some of the enamel has come off, but I love it anyway! The brooch is well made and rather heavy. I would guess that it may date to the 1930's or 40's. There are no marks on the brooch. The metal might be brass.
Any help identifying this piece would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking:)
This brooch has had a life...but still beautiful.
It looks perfect before magnification. Fun, lively piece!
Yes, Efesgirl, it had a life. I wish it could talk.
Celiene, you are correct too. It looks great in reality, even with a bit of wear. One could call it character?? I will take care of the rhinestones when I get a chance but I think I will leave the enamel the way it is.
Thanks a lot, vetraio50:)
