Found this at an antique mall tucked in the corner. Basic construction, but solid and has charm. Anyone can put anything on a tag to help sell, but I have no reason to suspect this is not from where tag says. Been in rural Ontario my entire life, and know old farm houses quite well. If you can build it yourself, then you did. People didn't have Ikea to run to when they needed a cabinet. I live in a house that is over 120 years old, as do my parents, and their parents before. Old comes naturally to me. It is comfortable. When I need furniture, I go treasure hunting everywhere but a retail store.
Cabinet has been repurposed into somewhere to store a very small amount of my toy collection.
