My Bradley Doll was made in Korea;I call her Miss May and she is a beauty . I bought her about 5 years ago for the price of $1.00 and I am told she is worth around $30.00 .
Miss May stands from her white plastic base a total 12 inches tall, she is dressed in red with white floral threading accented by a Yellow Pansy flower with Yellow ribbon, with matching Jewel & Bonnet. Underneath her skirt she has a white mesh hoop skirt and red bottoms. She is in excellent condition with no pulls, tears, or broken fingers, so I will assume she was not played with but rather spent her earlier days on display .
Bradley Dolls became popular during the 1950's and again during the 1970's. The dolls are also known by other names like: Boudoir Dolls,
Stockinette Dolls, Cloth Dolls, Southern Bell Dolls, Victorian Dolls, Living Dolls & Big Eyed Dolls.
