This is a particular favorite of mine which we picked up for only 20 bucks! Three of the color "chips" were missing when we purchased it. I was able to come pretty close to duplicating the "alligatored" varnish finish of the originals and think it looks pretty good. Good enough for us anyway!

THX very much racer4four & Nicefice! Appreciate the compliments. I'm pretty good with porcelain and neon but this was a new one for me. Elmer's glue is the key!

That is a very interesting display with a lot going on. Yes Elmer's works great on wood.

THX fortapache! Still looking for Kyanize cans to put on shelves but works for other "junque" right now. Used Elmer's to get that alligator texture. Water base stain the wood, smear Elmer's on piece, let it flash off just a bit and clear coat. As the Elmer's dries underneath it creates the texture.
I like your elf riding the hog!
      MERRY CHRISTMAS!
