    Bought this knive off Ebay for 20 bucks,when i got it i looked at the blade and saw that it said Schrade Cultlery 95 years of excellence. I'v never seen another one like it. its USA 285um also has a code of 5899.

      Your knife is a 285 UH Pro Trapper, the UH meaning Uncle Henry. First introduced in 1969 and last listing in 2002. Not sure what year the 95th anniversary would have been. They sold new for $34.95 and todays market is between $30 and $50 dollars so you did good at $20.

      Just a guess here .... the web says that the company was founded in 1904, so adding 95 to that is 1999. That may be the year ? It is pretty....

      I have one like that to celebrate the company's 110th anniversary. It is real nice!
