Mid 1980's Siku West Germany Volvo Turbo. Missing Canopies on truck and trailer, and trailer drop gate. All cargo sides fold down. 1:43 scale. Has playwear, but displays nice. 2nd picture to show light from cab windows shines through headlamps. Corgi Toys were very good at this feature. Just a filler truck to use as display. It was available in a few colour combinations and boxed as new are still common on internet sale sites.
Thank you Nicefice. Not sure if Siku intended the lights to do this. The display is getting worse for wear. Mice ate the lichen shrubs a few years back. Have 2 of these layouts about 4 by 3 feet. Houses are home made. went to college as a draftsman, so was easy enough to whip them up in no time. You can see the Red Rose Tea box through the windows of the big house. This and the other houses, about 12 of them, are made from. Cereal boxes, gift boxes, etc. Streets are various heavy weight paper sheets. I worked for a printing company and would order sample sheets of the paper that I thought would work depending on what I was building. Used to get 25 sheets per sample of 26 x 40 inch size for free. Still have a lot of paper and cardstock, been out of that business since 1996. Will try to clean up the area and do a feature on the layout sometime in the spring.
