Family holiday discussion , is this a civil war era glass? Legend has it this was a Civil War bringback from the South. No discernible marks 10 cm tall 6 cm wide. White with clear ovals. Any thoughts?

The pattern is called Coin Dot by Fenton Glass. Sorry, not old enough to be Civil war.
Hobbs Glass made a pattern called Polka Dot, but I'm not sure that is old enough either. The thing that is throwing me off is the bottom of the glass, and it having a few dots on it.. That is really unusual. And the bottom of the glass is a rounded edge.
doesn't look like Fenton's Coin Dot or Hobbs' Polka Dot to me. Many company made similar coin dot/spot patterns during the Victorian era and later. This one is unusual in that the coins extend unevenly to the bottom and are arranged in vertical columns.
