    This artifact clearly is a tool, for what I haven't a clue! There appear to be groove/wear marks near the base of the flat part.
    It is made of a hard stone & it's heavy for its size.
    It is not whole, the other end is missing. (in my opinion)
    Anyone want to take a guess as to what it is?
    I'm open for suggestions.

      Could it be some sort of weight, to use for fishing in fast water ....maybe??

      or a club head the thinner bit going into a shaft?

      looks like a weight for some type of line or measuring device to see how deep a well, or river would be....but that is just a guess....
