1921: Germany In Decline

This 1921 aluminium 50 Pfennig shows a Germany in decline. Nonetheless, Gich Regen Bringt Gegen, or Hard Work Brings Its Own Blessings, is embossed on the back.
Germany would later fail miserably, in which about 1 trillion German Marks equaled 1 U.S. Dollar.
And these people had to live like that back in the Weimar Republic.
Still, the Weimar was a noble attempt to salvage my ancestors' proud country crushed into ruins.
