I purchased this angel at an Estate Sale last weekend. The back has Mitrou engraved into the pottery and a gold label that reads Tyroler Atelier Kals Terrakotten.

She measures: 1 1/2 thick at her thickest point, 7 3/4" wide and 5 1/2" tall.

I found that Tyroler Atelier Kals Terrakotten is an antique store in Belgium, that is all I have been able to learn about this little beauty. Can anyone help add to her history?

The store also deals in antiques (antiquarian) and is in Tirol, Austria. "Terrakotten" is German. It means terracottas. The shop sells ceramics and porcelain. I don't think this piece is an antique.

An atelier is a workshop or studio.
