    A vintage leather suitcase with an alligator pattern. It is about 24" x 14" x 8". The fasteners for the straps have a "Strap in Catch" logo on them otherwise no information on the manufacturer. OK the snaps inside are from United-Carr which was a company that made fasteners.
    Fairly sure this is faux alligator as otherwise there would be more variation in the scale size, plus it looks like leather from a bovine and not a crocodilian.
    Hitting the unsolved mystery on this one.

      Hmmmm.... I'm a little stumped on this one as well. Could this be from the 1970's era? That's kind of what I'm thinking here.

      Thank you Scott. There is quite a bit of patina and age/wear on it. Perhaps a second post with some close ups of the clasps would help.
