Family owned chair pass down generations. Not sure of the year it was purchased but has been in family since purchased. Again not sure if it was made late 1800 or early 1900 but been in one family. Excellent condition. Been in current family home for 30+ years and not used. Requesting information on style, period and price

    Thank you

    Janet

There are no appraisers here, best to do a web search describing the piece.

Thank you Gillian. Interested in knowing what type of chair this is so I can research further. Thanks

Is this chair put together with pegs, dovetail joins or nails? Is there webbing/springs underneath the seat? Photos of the back and underneath would be helpful.

Its definitely a variety of styles. Possibly late Victorian to early 20th century but hard to tell with the pictures at hand.

I will check out the chair tomorrow and take photos of the back and underneath. Thank you
