    Black book with no writing on the cover. Drawings are hand painted. Pictures that is

    This books has been passed down from several people I see Giving to my grandparents in 1960 .And know mine.

    I was told it was extremely rare from a pastor.

      Well not sure about the book..had A pastor look at it and he states really rare pictures are hand painted and I am excited about it. Just want to know more He stated that this book have pictures in it that are older than what society has on their walls.

      They're not hand-painted like you were lead to believe. Lithographs and engravings were common in Family Bibles, which this was meant to be.
      Family Bibles are common, but I'm not familiar with this particular one and would need to see it to set a date better. Maybe 1870s. They made them like this in the last half of the 1800s, the 1890s being the golden age of them.
