Another 50p find from the same charity shop. I think this girl figurine is just sooo beautiful. The pottery is quite damaged, it was broken into few pieces but somebody glued it back together. I believe it's old, early 20th century perhaps? Can somebody help me with the identification please? No marks, only number, see the third photo. The figurine is nearly 8'' tall.

Strangely even a pic. Of the base and number might be helpful. But I'd say it's late nineteenth century and from either Austria or Germany.

Thanks, vetraio50. I will upload a picture of the base. I thought it might be from Germany, I saw something similar on ebay.... But I'm not very sure.

9394 is the model/mold number. I did an image search and came up empty. She is beautiful, even with the damage.

I uploaded an image of the base. You can see the figurine is hollow.

I just came across few minutes ago on a same figurine - made from a same mould, but different paint. The material is different too, mine is made from clay, while the other one is porcelain. The porcelain figurine bears the Royal Dux pink triangle hallmark, mine has no marking.

I read somewhere this manufacturer produced pieces from both materials.

Wow 50p what a bargain! Where are you located? Think I need a trip to these charity shops :) she's gorgeous, I'd have snapped her up too.

Vintagefran, I live in South East, East Sussex in a small town. Currently we have got nine charity shops, some of them better than others. In this particular one the shop assistants put everything what they consider as an inferior or rubbish in a big plastic baskets and they sell them for £0.50 each. This figurine has a restoration, so they were selling it for a few pence. I often find interesting things there and noticed some of the shop assistants find my enthusiasm bit amusing.
